ReDefine Self, ReDiscover Value, ReGain Well-being
About Hand & Hoof Haven
We live in a world where both humans and animals are having to do or be what is not in their nature more and more. They are frequently being labeled, told to suppress feeling, not process emotions, conform to what those around them require. There are fewer and fewer places to turn to for growth, help, learning and to obtain peace and happiness in who one is. It is no wonder that so many people and animals are showing signs of stress and dealing with so many issues and difficulties in their lives. Here, at Hand & Hoof Haven, we focus on each client individually, whether human or animal, and meet them where they are to move forward at their own pace. We use a holistic approach that uses information from neuroscience, skilled professionals’ teachings, skills we have developed in our lives and our natural talents to help our clients ReDefine who they chose to be, ReDiscover their personal value, and to ReGain their overall well-being and quality of life. While doing this we strive to create an environment that assists in developing a sense of peace and happiness that our clients can take forward into their lives, even if they have forgotten what those things feel like. Each client, human and animal, are unique in what they need to reach their goals, due to this we offer a variety of services and maintain a network of other professionals that can assist our clients if they need further assistance, or if we are not the right fit. We view our network of professionals as part of our team, and value them for their talents and abilities, if we are not the perfect match for a client, we want to help them find that professional who is.
Hand & Hoof Haven started when Charleen and Cat met in their EquineFlow Level 1 certification course. As they worked to build their equine assisted life coaching practices, they realized that they both saw the same bigger picture. They wanted to create a space not just for people, but for animals as well. The things they have each gone through in life have led them to this place and have given the empathy needed for their work. Together they have been able to further build their individual and joint skills, as well as create a space that is safe for clients to work on themselves free of judgement or labeling. Please check out our team page to hear more about the journeys that brought us together at the Haven.
